For years I struggled to get out of my negativity, I was trying to let go of the past but didn’t know how to do it, until one day I found a meditation that truly changed it for me. This is the meditation I would fall asleep to every night for at least 4 months. After about two weeks I noticed that every day got a little bit easier, I felt happier and started to really see the difference in myself.
I was finally starting to enjoy my life and it is not like I was in a cold and gloomy place, I was living in Costa Rica. I had been there for 3 months when I discovered this meditation and could not believe how bad I still was, even after working on myself for a year. We all think that forgetting about our past will make it go away but I can confirm that is not the case.
When you have many traumatic experiences, they stay with you until you actually live through them, I mean like go through the pain instead of trying to block it and say “ oh ya I know, it is fine I am ok” Forgiving yourself is the biggest part to this equation.
You can do affirmations to help your brain be more positive as well, I did those a lot..
I am beautiful, I am powerful, I am a money magnet.. Name them I have said them all. I also discovered that my surroundings were still negative.
I realized I needed a change, they say that your net worth is the people you hang out with.. I noticed that my friends were simple and didn’t need much or want much. Which is fine but that is not me. I want more, I want the world and have so much money that I never have to look at my bank account because it is always full..

A HUGE thing I learnt was that the thoughts of today create your tomorrow and when you start to listen to your thoughts you will be surprised at what you say to yourself in a day..
So start today and write them down when you catch yourself and then rewrite your thoughts for example : OMG today is such a shitty day / Cancel clear, my days are so easy, I love what I do. People around me are so sweet.. If you want to be a bit more intense, wear an elastic on your wrist and snap it every time you catch yourself, don’t forget to say cancel, clear and reframe your thoughts.
Even though what you desire may not be close to your reality at moment the more you say it and feel it the faster it will come to you.. You might get a promotion or maybe you will find your dream job and be surrounded by amazing people..
